Who is Galerie 44?
Launched in 2014, Galerie 44 is an online gallery offering vintage furniture and decorations from the 20th century. These design enthusiasts allow you to benefit from their passion and their world in their 1000m2 warehouse one hour from Lyon. Found throughout the world, they unearth unique pieces full of character. Renovation and restoration are at the heart of their business in order to give a second life to its unique pieces by great designers so that they can stand the test of time.
Gallery 44 x The residents
Sharing the same love for beautifully crafted pieces, a taste for beautiful things and beautiful materials, the collaboration between Galerie 44 and Les pensionnaires seemed obvious. Thanks to vintage furniture , Les boarders products come to life through different settings. The result of this shoot immerses you in a vintage interior , mixing timeless materials and colors. Our bed linen and household linen products wander from room to room in this series of photographs.
Overview
Find our rosewood pencil case in thick organic cotton canvas placed on a black metal and oak veneer desk with typical 1950s lines.
Our caper green cotton gauze tablecloth floats among the chairs designed in the 60s by Dutch designer Ster Gelderland.
On this inspiration, (re)discover our large rust cotton gauze throw and the matching cotton gauze maxi cushion which rests on a brushed oak and linen fabric sofa.
On the night side, our cotton gauze set poses under a two-arm wall lamp designed by German designer Rupprecht Skrip in the 1950s and then published by Skrip Leuchten. In this photo, also find: an armchair in oak and beige linen, a pink bowling bag in thick organic cotton canvas .
