Slub cotton kitchen linens

This striped slub cotton fabric is woven exclusively for us in a small workshop in Portugal, certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100. This certification guarantees that the textiles are free from substances that are harmful to health and are environmentally friendly. Its slightly irregular thread creates delicate nuances in the texture: this is what is known as “slub”. This unique weave gives the fabric its texture and natural charm. The fine black stripe, woven directly into the fabric, adds a subtle and timeless touch. A lively fabric, full of character, which we have designed to dress you with simplicity and elegance.

Striped tea towel in slub cotton, woven in Portugal from a textured fabric with natural charm.
Its fine black woven stripes give it a timeless style that suits both country kitchens and more contemporary interiors.

In the upper left corner, the delicate golden “signature” embroidery by Les pensionnaires discreetly completes this tea towel.

Resistant and absorbent, it accompanies every moment of everyday life.

Care instructions

Cold wash recommended before first use.
Then wash between 30°C and 40°C with moderate spin cycle at 800 rpm (do not dry clean).
Air dry or tumble dry at low temperature to preserve the fibers.
Avoid abrasive detergents with bleaching agents.
Iron on a low setting, maximum 110°C.

What is cotton percale?

Cotton percale is a very high quality canvas because it is made with very fine threads, made from very long fibers. It is very tightly woven (at least 80 threads per cm2) which allows it to be both fine and resistant.

And the double cotton gauze?

Cotton gauze is a light and airy fabric, extremely soft and pleasant to the touch. Double gauze is made up of two layers of gauze linked together by invisible stitches at regular intervals.

What is flamed cotton?

Flamed cotton is a unique fabric, characterized by subtle irregularities that create a natural textural effect. Soft and comfortable, it is made from yarns with variations in thickness, giving it a slightly mottled, visually dynamic appearance.

Is the delivery time for personalized products the same?

Customized products require additional time to make and are shipped within 7 days. Non-customized products are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours.

Our fabrics are made from 100% natural fibers, 70% of them from organic cotton.
