Double cotton gauze bed linen

Our double cotton gauze is woven exclusively for us in a small workshop north of Porto, then dyed and made in a neighboring village. It is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, guaranteeing textiles without substances harmful to health and the environment. The weave of our double cotton gauze is particularly dense since it is 140g / m². This result is the fruit of several months of collaboration to obtain the perfect embossing and feel of the double gauze. At Les pensionnaires, we have been fans of this material since the launch of the brand in 2018!

Description

Pillowcase available in 65x65 cm and 50x70 cm in double cotton gauze .

Large 24cm interior flap which keeps the pillow securely in place. This pillowcase is marked in the upper left corner with the small gold embroidery “signature” Les pensionnaires. The softness of our double cotton gauze pillowcase will take you straight into the arms of Morpheus for a guaranteed good night's sleep. This pristine white will go with any color combination.

Available in 5 other exclusive colors created by and for Les pensionnaires: storm blue , caper green , rust red , delicate pink and saffron yellow .

Care instructions

Cold wash recommended before first use
Then wash between 30°C and 40°C with moderate spin 800 rpm (no dry cleaning)
Air dry flat or on low heat to preserve fibers
Abrasive detergents with bleaching agents should be avoided
The naturally waffle look of cotton gauze requires no ironing

What is cotton percale?

Cotton percale is a very high quality fabric, as it is made from very fine yarns from very long fibers. It is woven very tightly (at least 80 threads per cm2), making it both fine and resistant.

What is double cotton gauze?

Cotton gauze is a light, airy fabric, extremely soft and pleasant to the touch. Double gauze is made up of two layers of gauze bound together by invisible stitches at regular intervals.

What's the right thing to do before first use?

We advise you to wash your comforter cover cold before using it for the first time.

What's our advice?

Wash your comforter cover inside out, to preserve the colors, and don't leave it in the Les pensionnaires inks are AZO-free, what does that mean?damp for too long: hang it up as soon as possible at the end of the wash cycle.

Les pensionnaires inks are AZO-free, what does that mean?

The AZO-free label certifies that the dyes used to print Les pensionnaires patterns are free of heavy metals and hazardous chemicals. The risks to the environment in the country of production are therefore limited, and contact with the skin is harmless to health.
